Firstly we will inspect the vehicles damage and determine a repair process for the ultimate clean and effective repair. On a wing repair like the one pictured below, we know that traditional paintless dent removal methods would be the best option over GPR (glue pull repairs). Our reasons behind this is that we know that access to the underside of the panel was open and that we had a good leverage point for our tools. This is most often the case with front wing repairs as you can remove the wheel arch liner, slide a specialist PDR tool behind the panel and use the tyre as a leverage point.
After finding access behind the panel and being set up and ready to start the repair, we then apply gentle heat to the panel to stop the paint from fracturing or cracking during the repair process. Once up to temperature we will then start the repair by carefully pushing and manipulating the panel back into its original factory shape and form. We use a specialist led light board which tells us exactly where the panel should be so that we can get a perfect repair and finish.
