What are Glue Pull Repairs?
Glue Pull Repairs or GPR is a method of repair using specialist hot glue and pulling equipment, to fully repair the affected area from the face of the panel. This repair is very similar to Paintless Dent Removal methods where the original factory paint is not affected. The repair is completed by gluing different plastic tabs onto the dent and carefully manipulating the metal back to its original factory condition.
How Can Repairing Dents on E-Vehicles with GPR be Beneficial
E-Vehicles have many high voltage batteries and power cables running through the inside of the vehicles. When carrying out a conventional body shop repair, these batteries and cables need to be powered down. If the vehicle is not powered down correctly the conventional repair could cause major damage to your vehicle. By using GPR this is not necessary as no welding, sanding or painting is used.
