How does PDR work?
PDR ( Paintless Dent Repair) is a process of returning damaged metal to its original shape and form. Using specialist tools and techniques the technician will carefully manipulate the metal from the back of the panel. This is achieved by using a wide range of tools that can fit inside the panel. The technician will then carefully manipulate the metal from the underside back to its original shape and form. During this paintless dent repair process the vehicle’s factory paint condition will remain untouched and leave the original finish.
If access to the back of the panel is restricted the technician will use GPR (glue pulling repair) techniques. This is where they will glue specialist tabs onto the front of the panel and pull the dent out in a controlled manner. This is achieved with Specialist glue and lifting equipment. The glue is then removed from your panel leaving the paintwork untouched and your car like new with no sign of repair. Another great benefit of paintless dent repair.
